Recommended Grade Level: 12, (Sophomores and Juniors with Teacher approval)

This course is highly recommended for students who plan to attend college and/or pursue careers that require good oral communication skills. Students study and practice informative, persuasive and special occasion speeches as well as the four styles of delivery. Students benefit from the positive feedback from their peers and their instructor in a comfortable environment as they strive to develop their own skills. Depending upon the semester of this course offering, students may write their required senior research papers based on course related topics.
