Prerequisites: English 9, English 10, and English 11

Applied Communications is a half-year 1/2 credit course in Senior English. As part of the graduation requirements, seniors are expected to complete a satisfactory Senior English Paper. In addition to this, the course includes topics in the following. 1) Job interviewing 2) Types of letters and correspondence in business and industry 3) Gender equity in communication for the world of work 4) Samples of literature that examine the role of people in the workplace 5) Innovative advertising.
