Course Description
Recommended Grade Level: 9-12

Students will learn the proper use of photography equipment, including several types of cameras, enlarging techniques, developing procedures, and basic methods of creativity with camera use and darkroom procedures. An introduction to digital photography will also be offered. Additional lab sessions are required. The following methods will be used: Black and white photography using instamatic cameras and 35-mm cameras.
Evaluation: homework assignments, quizzes, tests, photography exercises, photo essays, and displays.
