American Rescue Plan, Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund Information (ARP ESSER)

School districts have received funding from two previous federal stimulus funds: Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) and American Rescue Plan (ARP). CVS worked with faculty and staff and reached out to parents and the community with a survey to elicit ideas on how to spend these funds.  The administrative team and cabinet then compiled all requests and worked together to develop a plan to spend these funds which end September 30, 2023 and September 30, 2024, respectively.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program
Are you an eligible tenant or landlord who is experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19? The Emergency Rental Assistance Program assists households behind on their rent that have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 and are at risk of homelessness or housing instability. In addition, the program can provide temporary rental assistance and assistance with unpaid utility bills.

Superintendents Letter - June 8th
Effective today, face masks are NOT required to be worn outdoors on school grounds, including during outdoor school sports. No student, teacher, staff member or visitor will be prevented from wearing an acceptable face mask voluntarily outside on school grounds. It is the choice of each individual.

Face masks will continue to be worn when inside and on school buses. Frequent face mask breaks will be given.
