Welcome to the Cafeteria

ALL students enrolled at Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School will receive FREE breakfast and lunch for the 2025-2026 school year. 

No paperwork needs to be completed to qualify.

If you wish to see if you qualify for more benefits please complete a Household Income Form.

Free Lunch does not include:

  • snacks
  • or a second entrée (hamburger, pizza, etc).

Easily and securely pay for school meals online or on-the-go! Create your free MySchoolBucks account to view cafeteria purchases, check your student’s balance, set up low balance alerts, and pay for school meals from anywhere.

  1. Go to myschoolbucks or download the mobile app
  2. Create your free account and add your students using their school name / student ID
  3. Add funds using your credit / debit card or electronic check
  4. Set up automatic payments and never forget to send in lunch money again.

The cafeteria has made a lot of changes to help our students have the choices they need for nutritious meals and snacks at CVS. With the new meal pattern in affect you will see a lot more changes in the lunch line. The cafeteria must offer five meal components (meat/meat alternate, grain, fruits, vegetables and milk). Students must take either a fruit or vegetable and two other components (total of three). Students may choose all five for the same price.

LUNCH AND BREAKFAST PRICES: 

  • Extra Lunch is $1.50(milk included)
  • Lunch milk only, is 50 cents
  • Breakfast is $1.25(milk included)

SENDING IN MONEY WITH YOUR CHILD: You may add money to your childs account by sending in checks or cash in an envelope with the child's full name and pin # on it.

If you have more than one child you can send in one check for the whole family, please be sure to include all names and account numbers. Please specify the amount for each account on the bottom of the check.
For your convenience you may add money electronically to your childs MySchoolBucks account. (see information above)   

The cafeteria encourages everyone to eat right and exercise.
