Community Meetings

 

Community Meetings are held monthly, generally the last Friday of each month.  Built around the yearly schoolwide theme and facilitated by the Student Leadership Group, the Community Meeting is designed to celebrate the positive things happening in and around the Elementary building!  Celebrations include:

  • Groups of students and/or community organizations preparing a short presentation, usually a skit or video, based on the yearly theme
  • Recognition of birthdays
  • Awarding of Positive Patriots (students) and Golden Essentials (classes), which recognize positive behavior and contributions to the school community

If your child or child’s class is being recognized at a Community Meeting, your child’s teacher will contact you to attend.
