Superintendents Letter, October 4, 2022

October 4, 2022

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We had a fantastic first month of school. Thank you for your part in making it such a great four weeks. Open House was well attended. It was great seeing so many parents. We have a few reminders and announcements to share with you.

  • No school for PK-12 students on Friday, October 7th for Superintendent Conference Day

  • No school for PK-12 students on Monday, October 10th in Observance of Columbus Day.

  • Friday, October 7th, is the end of 5 weeks for our secondary students.

  • For parents who drop off and/or pick up their children in the parking loop please do not get out of your car. It is used as an area to quickly drop off or pick up. If you need to get out of your car please park in the parking lot.

  • We do not allow homemade baked goods or food into the classroom during the school day. Any food that is shared in the classroom requires an ingredient listing and must be packaged. Food allergies are a major concern along with the Department of Health having standards that require food to be prepared in a sanitized cooking area.  This does not pertain to bringing lunch in from home.

  • We have a new phone system. Our teachers no longer have voicemail. If you need to contact your child’s teacher please email the teacher or call the main office and ask that the teacher give you a call.

  • We are focusing on Shout Out of the positive things that are happening in our school.  We are using the school website, our Facebook page and Twitter.

Enjoy this time of year with your family.  If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher, counselor, principal or myself. We are here to help.

Sincerely,

TheriJo Snyder

Superintendent
