Goal:  To provide and/or utilize learning experiences which are directed toward the development and influencing of favorable health understanding and knowledge, health attitudes, and health practices.  Understanding is the key to behavior; therefore, the desired outcome of health education is to change one's attitude in hopes that one will change his/her behavior.

Evaluation:  class participation, discussion and group work.  Quizzes, test at the end of each unit, final exam.
